Flush the Vacuflush follow up pictures

Attached are some pictures of my vacuflush conversion to its new location in a cargo hold compartment in the coach. Guess which is the original Fleetwood install and which is my install?

What a nice job!

Rick
I'm thinking I like ur idea of moving the pump vs the other one of an access hole. If it leaks in the space where it was you do have a mess. Even with the access hole.

Can I ask where you got the hose extension parts?

Bill& jenny,
I ordered all my hose and fittings from northeast marine sanitation in NY phone #631-752-7606. Flex line is 10 bucks a ft, I ordered 10 ft for my project, have 3 ft extra, most 1 1/2" drain fittings can be purchased at lowes, but not the tapered hose adapters that glue into each elbow etc, they have to come from northeast marine . Also the in line 1 1/2" shut off valves can be bought at lowes, just need 2 hose adapters for each valve, also I used sweeping 90 degree elbows instead of tight 90's uses a little more room but smoother flow . You can't see in my pics but I have drains in corners of cargo hold, which are sealed so nothing can run under the white vinyl panel that is under and around the vacuum generator, can just hose it out if needed, also look closely at hose before installing, you must twist hose in 1 direction to install on hose adapter, use plenty of lube, ask for a couple of installation lube tubes ,most likely still included in purchase of hose, good luck and have fun,it's worth it.

OK, this might fit into the dumb question category but here goes. I don't think I have the vacuflush system in my 15 Storm. Can anyone confirm or deny?

Tim, most fleetwood units have vacuflush, It's easy to tell if you have it.
1-do you have to turn on a switch before you can flush?
2-does it make a loud kawissh when flushed?
3-do you hear a pump running for 30 secs or so after flushing?
4-If you answered no to all of the above, you don't have vacuflush.
5-The only dumb questions are the ones not asked.
6-hope this helps.
