the FF 75 Fog is;
54mm high or 2.12598 inches
155.5 wide or 6.1220472 inches
The opening I have in my lower valance is 6.25 inches by 2.25 inches.
This says this light should fit nicely.
This is the way I am leaning although this one is interesting, trying to get more information. Some reviews are not good.
It appears to have both a fog light and a driving light in each lamp.

Look like a better light than the OEM to me, I was looking at those too. Hella has several lights that might work.

I am down to these two lights, HELLA 008284801 FF75 or Optilux 2020 Driving / Fog Lamp
My current thinking is the Optilux 2020 Driving / Fog Lamp might be to gimicky and cheap for what I am looking for.
I want to make a decision this week and order them so they are waiting for me when I get home

Ok, looks like I am going to try the Hella FF75
Here is the correspondence I have had with Hella (actually stated talking with a gentleman from the UK who gave me an e-mail address for someone here in the us, both have been supportive.
From: "Glenn R Lever" <autoshop@rochester.rr.com>

Subject: Guidance on light choice and why that is the correct decision
I want to replace the fog lights (I understand the difference between fog lights and driving lights) on the front of my motor home.
Looking for HIGH quality.
I actually have done it once already and the result was not usable on the road (to bright, and would blind the oncoming driver)
I posted that project at this link which will give you some background on my request.

I would be using them as a replacement for the lights currently on the front Of my Motor home.
The opening in the lower valance is 6 ¼ by 2 ¼ . I have the ability to modify the open if needed.
I am looking for your input, guidance, and most important reasoning on which is the best choice for my application.

Glenn,
For the functionality and the quality, I will have to suggest the FF75. The lamp will have the cutoff so not to impair oncoming traffic.
This is a very popular lamp for motorcyclist.
Here is the Isolux chart if you have not already seen it.
Found the web page that came from.

Thank you for your reply.
So you do not like the Optilux 2020 Driving / Fog Lamp. Is that because of how it is built?
I had not seen the Isolux chart for the FF75. I did not see this on the web site.
There must be two for the Optilux charts for the Optilux 2020 Driving / Fog Lamp.
One for the driving light and one for the fog light.
If I understand the concept of that light there are two lenses and two bulbs inside of one housing.
I would suspect three or four wires, one set of + and – for the fog light and another for the driving light, although it might be wired with a common ground for the two bulbs.
I would very much like to read all the materials you have on both of these lights. Can you send me links. I would like to purchase today or tomorrow so they are waiting for me to install them when I get home.
Did you get a chance to read this post on my last install of fog lights? It will give you some background on my request.

We do not have an Isolux chart for the Optilux. Optilux is our branded entry level lamp.

I think you made the right call on the FF75's, sounds like a higher quality light.

The lights have arrived. The back housing is disappointingly a cheap plastic cover.
However the lamp housing it covers appears to be a high quality piece of engineering.
A quick test fit says they will fit without modification to the lower valance.
Once I get the problem with the dragster, and then the problem with the refrigerator straightened out, I will install these and give a review and full update in my thread.

Chuck when you swapped out the 50 watt bulbs for the 100's did you do any wiring to accommodate the addition amps?

You went by how big around the wire was to the light? You did not see the conductor?
