Freightliner Freedom Bridge - Mice

Any suggestions on what to stuff with steel wool on an ISL9 Cummins on a Freightliner XCM chassis? I have learned on my various gas vehicles to stuff the air intake and cover the cabin fresh air inlet or spend the spring digging out mouse nests.

Are some areas on this massivelt complex Diesel I should be tending to? I know how to protect the coach. Worried about the power plant. I can't even see where it takes air in!!!

Use cotton balls soaked in pure peppermint oil. Mice hate peppermint oil.

Open the engine hatch and locate the BIG air filter. Find the inlet pipe and stuff it if you must. I'd use galvanized wire mesh (hardware cloth) rather than steel wool (which rusts). My last coach had an inlet duct all the way to the roof, but others have an air intake in the sidewall. It's big cause diesels suck a lot of air. Ought not to be hard to find.
