Fresh water filter location?
Hello fellow RV'ers, recently purchased a 2007 Bounder DP and I am currently going through replacing little things. I am having trouble locating the fresh water filter? I know this coach has a fresh water filtration system on it but off hand cannot think of the name of it? If anyone could help me find it or let me know how often it needs to be replaced it would greatly appreciated! Thanks Joe!

On our F/Wood Revolution, the fresh water filter is under the kitchen sink at the back of the cabinet. It should be very visible. Ours filters the drinking water outlet at the sink as well as the ice maker. Hope that helps.....

On my 2008 Bounder the whole house filter is in the plumbing bay behind the panel. Mine is on the left side almost directly behind the shower valve. I use a 5 micron filters available in a 3 pack from Lowes or HD.

I would still call FW and wouldn't trust Elkhartjim
Seriously , I knew Jim would come through, it's just that he sleeps in late a lot. It happens when you get old.

I have a 2007 Bounder 38v. The filter is behind the panel in the plumbing bay. I use carbon filters from the depot. I'll use 1 for the Summer and I change them once a month during the Winter in Florida.

You may want to consider that using a carbon filter upstream of the fresh water tank may remove the chlorine thats needed to help keep the water potable.

Good point, however most of the filters used on water systems remove chlorine. At least they advertise that they remove chlorine taste and odor. I would have to check, but I think that the city water fill bypasses the filter as it goes into the fresh water tank. I know that the fill port on the side of the coach goes directly into the tank.
