Fresh Water - Strange Issue
Hi all,
I'm having a strange issue with fresh water.
2002 Fleetwood Revolution 38B
A month or so ago, I winterized the fresh water system by draining all the tanks and purging with the lines with air (50lbs#). I live in Alabama and it has not been too cold since I winterized (couple of mornings in the upper twenties).
We are planning to head to Florida next week and temps will be above freezing, so I hooked up the fresh water hose to get ready.
Issue:
I have good water pressure in the shower (hot and cold), toilet, drinking water spout next to kitchen sink and water to the fridge. I DO NOT have any water pressure (hot or cold) to the bathroom sink or kitchen sink? The issue is the same on city water and water pump. There are no leaks and I don't think it's an airlock since I have purged air out by opening the drain lines removing air. The kitchen sink has a trickle of water (hot or cold) and the bathroom sink has nothing. I opened all compartments but few have access to water lines. I opened the panel in the water bay but everything looks okay. I looked for water line diagram but have not found anything. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm a DIY'er and willing to try any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Water issue
Sammy, this issue has come up many times. First thing to check is the strainers on each faucet where the water comes out when turned on. Sediment gets into the small openings. If this doesn’t help I’m sure someone else will chime in. At least give it a try. Travato John

THANK YOU jl.
I immeditily went down to the RV and removed the strainers and that FIXED IT. I have no idea why I didn't think of that. Now both sinks are working better than ever.
Thanks again!

Just something to think about. Your water flow probably has been decreasing over an extended period of time, just not noticeable, until now when the screens finally plugged up from the remaining minerals left after the water evaporated away.
One question might be if you had any idea of the mineral content in the last water you ran in the coach, the stuff you blew out with the 50 psi air. The minerals remain in the screens after the water evaporates unless you dried out the screens.
This brings up a good argument about winterizing with antifreeze so the water is forced out of the system and mostly the antifreeze is left.
We travel north to Wisconsin each year to boondock for a few days. We take on some travel water at home which is lake water, stay at Lake of the Ozarks which is lake water and fill the water tank. Then on north to Iowa where I know the towns are on deep wells with very high mineral content water. Once we get to Wisconsin we use the tank lake water. We try to minimize the use of high mineral content water when possible. We also use a water softener but that is just personal preference of the individual.

All good points alank.
You are correct about the diminishing water pressure in our sinks which has now improved greatly since cleaning the strainers.
We too live on a lake and we never have that problem at our home, which might be why it did not occur to me to check the strainers until jl suggested it.
We winter in Florida so that's more than likely where we picked up the mineral deposits. I will plan on removing and cleaning the strainers and let water and air flow without strainers for several seconds as part of my winterization procedure.
Thanks for your comments.

As simple as this may sound......it's probably your problem. The filters in your sink nozzels are plugged. Unscrew them and clean them out. Your fresh water tank will accumulate particles that get sent threw the system especially after you drain your tank. When you fill it these particles clog your little nozzel filters in your faucets. Told it was too simple!!!
