Fresh Water system update

Some of you may remember my original thread about not having hot water when the fresh water hose was hooked up, but when running the pump and using the water tank, I had hot water but very low pressure at the kitchen sink.

I have been trying for a year to figure this out and even had Fleetwood scratching their heads as to where the problem was.
I woke up at 4 am the other morning with an Eureka moment. I bought a 1.35 cent 1/2 male pipe to female garden hose fitting and removed the discharge line from the pump and connected the water hose to it. Low and behold I had pressure at the kitchen faucets, plenty of hot water and no more running the damn pump. So now I am going to disconnect the piping behind the fresh water connection and cap those pipes off, run a new line from there to the pump location, install a tee in the discharge line, install a shut off valve to isolate the fresh water line, so when needed I can use the pump and tank. I just can't figure out why it took me so long to figure it out...LOL and having a cold beer celebrating...

The pump discharge and city water cold line should be together. I wonder if someone added a check valve where it shouldn't be because the pump's internal valve is bad.

I agree and according to the plumbing diagrams I got from FW, they are. But after crawling and take pictures of places I couldn't crawl, I finally just gave up. Some one has changed something, but the original owner died and his daughter and husband just used it with the water tank. I am betting when I finish up the replumbing, I find the problem. If not it will work and that is all that matters to me.
