No need to heat the bags or grease them. Just hook them to a vacuum source, like intake manifold vacuum or a vacuum pump. Once collapsed, tie them with 3 or 4 tie wraps and stuff them in the hole. Nuttin to it. Do make sure the end bushings are correctly in place.
Spring replacement is a better option but more time consuming and more $$.
Henderson Line Up does offer such springs.

Just following up and didn't mean to Hi-jack this tread....Since the bottom out issue is only with the Chevy P Chassis and my beast already has the HD coils, I'm looking into the Timbren kit to resolve the issue.
