Front cap wiring

On my 2017 all the front cap wires, head lights, turn signals, fog, etc, were wired up at the factory by a one armed blind drunk monkey. No connectors just twisted wire and tape. When I bought the rig (used 7,000 miles) I straighten up the mess as best as I could so nothing would just fail. While I was under the hood I also put a hold down on the battery as it didn't have on.

Anyway----I am looking at doing the wiring correct. Plugs and soldered splices. I want to put plug connectors in. Of course each application should use a different connector so the fog lights can't be plugged into the turn signal etc.

Any suggestions on connector brands ETC I should use? Lots of stuff on Amazon to choose from.

I would use Molex connectors or similar. Its a big job. You need to determine the wire sizes then select to correct pin and socket sizes. You need a really good crimper made for those pins/sockets. These crimpers are designed to only compress the pin so much not like those ones that cost $1.98 at Harbor Freight.
You need to also purchase the same connector mate too.

Look over this site - read the specs and order from Digikey, etc.
