I have found the gauge on gal to use yet is not very accurate. At least on mine. The odometer one with gal. used/miles driven etc I have been able to fine tune it over the last several years to be more useable. I use 1 odometer for a total trip. I use 1 odometer for each days travel And 1 odometer for Tank to tank fill
