Same trouble with my 2005 Mandalay. Called Duo therm for advice and they said all t- stat controls work through control board located in rooftop unit. One of two remedies if using single t-stat for multiple zones.... Either dip switch in rooftop not in "on" position so as control device can recognize furnace, or t- stat needs to be reset. My rooftop unit had been replaced recently so my bet was to look at resetting t-stat so as to now recognize furnace. Furnace 1 works thru rooftop 1 and Furnace 2 thru rooftop 2.Dip switches located in rooftop unit. RFS

I just bought a 2014 fleetwood discovery 40G last week. I spent the night in the unit at the dealership and around midnight noticed the from the bathroom back to the master bedroom the unit was really cold. My unit is setup with 3 zones being the following. zone 1 (front) AC and gas furnace. zone 2 (mid ship) ac / heat pump / gas furnace. zone 3 (bathroom and master bedroom) AC

We only have 1 thermostat that controls all 3 zones and there are 3 temperature sensors to read the temperature in each zone and operate accordingly.

When the dealership technician arrived in the morning and addressed my issue we found the temperature sensor for zone 2 (2nd furnace) is also in the living area so it picked temperature of zone 1 furnace and would never allow the second furnace to kick in and warm up batrhoom and master bedroom. There quick fix was for me to have zone 2 temp setup to at least 10 degrees warmer then zone 1. I did not agree to that and thought the best solution was for the second furnace to be programed on the thermostat as zone 3 and that way it used the temperature sensor which is located in the rear in the master bedroom. They called fleetwood and were able to re program the thermostat and that solved the issue. Hope this helps.

I have the multi-zone tstat that can control 4 different areas. To program check your manual. Mine gives great instruction. On mine you turn system off, remove cover, hold down both buttons on temp adjust. This puts it into program mode. I bet that zone one should have a gas heat setting. Use zone button to select zone and use mode switch to select program, my book shows the different selection. after you have programmed move switch to cool or heat to leave program mode. I found a manual online but you have to print it because they took it apart and scanned it so that page 3 is next to page 16.
