The fuse you are looking for will be in the same box as the 120-volt breakers. You should find 8 to 12 automotive-style fuses. You will need a voltmeter. You can not just look at them. You are looking for a 15 amp fuse.

If you were replacing a true plug-in lamp then you are not looking for a fuse. You need to check the 120-volt circuit breakers. Again you are looking for 15 amp. Turn them all off first then back on.

definite 12v task or accessory lamps in bedroom. reading lights have on/off switch that wasn't working/ replaced lamp, but wires touched and 12v power out. has to be fuse/breaker, but couldn't find a blown fuse. may be have to ohm each fuse to make sure. May be a third fuse box haven't checked. Ty...terry

The house 12v fuses are mostly on the multiplexor board under the bed (I had a 2004 American for 12 years), but there are a couple small separate fuse panels also on the side of the bed frame. The fuses under the entry steps are mostly dashboard & chassis systems. I've forgotten which fuse(s) apply to the bedroom lighting, but am pretty sure its one or the other of those. The multiplexor board fuses are for things controlled by the multiplex switches, so if the lights you blew have their own switch (not multiplexed) its probably one of the small boxes.

Rev Group is no longer providing direct customer support for older coaches, so they may not help you with the wiring diagrams. I can send you a pdf for a 2004 40V, but there will be some differences. The physical wiring harness is the same, but the schematic is tailored to the individual floor plan and doesn't show the parts & connections that apply to other layouts. Contact me via PM if you think it will help and I'll email to you. They are BIG files.

Ty Gary, yes it may be a multiplexer switch, if that is the push button light switch bar by head of bed, I realize the actual switch is in a fuse box). It has task, ceiling, main.... task switch not working. It turned on/off both lamps each side of bed and task lamps on opposite slideout (4 slide). The switch I was replacing was a simple on/off switch on the lamp so my wife could read if needed, me sleep. If you could email the wiring diagram would be very helpful ( tdw@dr.com ). Just ordered a couple of 110v-12v transformers and will run them with shore power is needed. Thx again...terry

I sent an email (from gary.brinck at gmail-dot-com) with the schematics. Hope it helps.

As I recall, the task light switch provided power to the task lamp on either side of the bed. I replaced the original ugly wall lamps with brass reading lamps that could be aimed for reading and each had its own on/off switch in addition to the main task power switch on the wall.
