Fuse Confusion

A bit of a play on words, LOL

I have a 1995 Tioga Montara, that I am restoring.

Looking at the fuses, there is no labeling for them, of course, why do something that easy to help yourself in the future.

I have determined what 3 of the eight do. , numbering them 1 to 9, with 1 being furthest left.

1) 25 amp ?
2) empty
3 15 amp, refrigerator
4) 20 amp ?
5) 15 amp ?
6) 5 amp ?
7) 40 amp Water Heater
8) 20 amp water pump
9) 5 amp ?

Anyone know what the ? ones might be. Obviously there is one or 12 for the 12v lights. But as none of the 12v lights come on, hard to figure that out. The previous, previous owner started to restore it, and CUT a bunch of the wires, all without marking what any of them do, of course

Sometimes it's easiest to kill all but one and go at it that way, see what works. That being said one of the 5 amps might be for your fridge control board, a 2 way or 3 way fridge generally has 1 circuit for the 12 volt heater and 1 circuit for the controls.

Some other things, your thermostat is 12 volts, also check your antenna booster. Have you checked with the manufacturer to see if there is a diagram? Also, many times the labeling is on the cover.

Also are you sure the 40 is not for the converter? The water heater shouldn't take 40 amps, it's just for the controls. Unless you have a 12 volt 480 watt water heater which would be a first for me.

Typical 12V Items
Lights
Furnace
LP Detector
Radio
12V TV
Range Hood
Roof vent fans

Questions:

Slot 2 no fuse but has a wire connected to the lug
Slot 5 has 15A fuse but no wire on lug
Slot 5 has 40A for water heater (and it looks like 2 wires on lug)?????
*that old DC fuse panel should not have ANY fuse larger then 20A

Fuse Confusion

OK, I found a piece piece of paper under the seat where the fuse panel is. Almost completely illegible. I scanned it in, and enlarged it 150%, and am able to make a good deal of it out.

1) ACC I can't make out at all, anyone have a guess?

Here is what I believe it says.
1)15A Lights
2)15A Lights
3) 15A Lights / Range hood
4) 15A Floor Vent (OPT)
5)
6) 5A Water Heater
1) ACC 5A Can't make out what this says at all
2) ACC 15A FURN/WTR Pump
3) ACC 15A TV/ANT/ R?fer (reefer?)

Does seem correct?

ACC usually is Accessory

I guess you could pull those fuses in question and see what doesn't work.....

You already know it's gonna be a 12v item
