Generator and AC problems

I own a 2004 Fleetwood Bounder39z. I purchased this coach used and I would describe myself green as to understanding the functions. Latest problems have been while powering both AC's may run for several hours and then kick off. Generator is still running. I can then turn off generator turn the RV motor on refire up the generator and ACs will kick back on. Also, generator may run for hours but will sometime kick off on its own as well. Fuel tank is above quarter tank. AC 's do blow cold when working. I was told if low on coolant they may over work and shut down. Any help would be great. Also, I purchased all new batteries as well. Thanks

Your power draw may be too much for the generator's output. Your power converter kicking in may be overloading your system with 2 AC's running. Also 2 AC's starting at the same time can cause the electric overload.

Your Bounder is very similar to my Southwind, it has a energy management systems and your AC are controlled by a thermostat, when your temp reaches the set point it will shut off. Maybe you know that but maybe not. Also the temp sensors are sometime located in an area that might get draft. One of mine is mounted under cabinets in kitchen and has an issue with being too warm stove or lights.

Have you if you know how to, checked the codes the generator will display when it shuts down. That info is available by looking at or downloading the manual for you model of generator.
