Generator is auto starting while driving

I am having a proble with my 2014 Fleetwood Southwind. While I am on the road ( driving ) I noticed that my generator was running. I had my AC's off, my refrig was on auto ( also tried it just gas) but the generator keeps kicking in.

I turn it off but it will come back on but there is no set time. I was on the phone with Fleetwood and they mentioned that there might be a Aut Gen Start parameter, going through the screens I do not see anything that I could change to shut this off. I am told that if my AC's where on and it got to hot in the MH my generator would kick in to cool the MH down. Like I said to my knowledge everthign was off ( but the refrig) so nothing should be calling for any power.

If you have the Auto Generator Start feature on your coach (I didn't realize Southwinds offered it), then it could be starting because of low house battery voltage. That and a/c demand are the two primary things used to trigger an auto start.

What inverter and inverter remote panel does it have? It should not be hard to determine if the AGS capability exists.

Assuming you DON'T have AGS, then the likely problem is moisture in the generator remote switch wiring harness, or in one of the generator start switches themselves. You might try warming the switch(es) with a hair dryer for a few minutes to try to drive moisture out. Maybe also check where the wiring harness joins the generator. If that home remedy doesn't help, a call to Onan (is it an Onan?) might get you some help.

A follow up:

I went to remove the cover for the generator and it started, I disconnected the remote wiring then followed it under the coach and saw that it was not in the wire wrap. Upon further inspection I found two wire that were chaffed. I repaired them and put everything back. So far so good.
