Generator shuts off 99 bounder

Hey guys. I have a 99 bounder after a few hours of running my generator it will shut off. I have plenty of gas. Oil is fine. It's an onan. Generator won't start back up again until it cools down. I called local generator repair shop and they say it does not have a high temp shut off. Just a low oil. Any ideas?

Could be electric fuel pump going out. Once the pump gets hot it will shut off and stop gen. I've had that problem on 2 motor homes and had to replace fuel pump

DonR

had the same thing with my 2008 Terra.
I bought a low pressure fuel pump for about $30 at my local Farm and Fleet.
while i was at it i replaced the fuel lines. while you are under there might as well do it right.
My Onan dealer wanted $90 and i had to make a 60 mile trip to get it put on.
