Generator slide not working

Hello, I have a 97 American Eagle and the hydraulic generator slide up front is not working. If anyone has any suggestions on how to get it operational or maybe an electrical schematic for the pump that would be great. Thank you.

It MAY be as simple as the micro-switch under the hood.

It has a metal actuator which must be engaged so that the slide will not operate when the hood is down.

That is what happened on my unit many years ago.

Solution: tie a piece of string around the actuator which engages the contacts within the micro-switch, completes the circuit and allows the slide to operate.

My 2007 American tradition 42f slide would go out. Slide under loosened fitting and bleed a few drops of fluid off. Working fine now.
