Exactly. If you take a closer look at the jacks, you will probably find that the rears are heftier than the fronts, as well. Hence, zerks versus no-zerks.

I encourage you owners with Power Gear four(4) jack levelers to read this Power Gear OPERATIONS MANUAL. Improper use of the four jack leveling system can result in your windshield popping out, chassis twist, etc.. It is important to understand that you do NOT use your front jacks for the actual side to side leveling.. Again, read the manual carefully to avoid issues.

For Bill,
Do I check the fluid level at figure 12 on your chart?

Steve </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Yes, Remove the plug where #12 is on the diagram. I have marked the TOP fill plug in red and the bottom drain plug in red.
Reach in there and feel for the ATF fluid. On 1998 - PRESENT model year coaches, the fluid should be within 1/4 inch of the fill port lip and checked only with all jacks retracted . On pre-1998 model year coaches the fluid level should be approximately 1/8 inch on the dipstick and checked only with all jacks retracted.

You will find it easiest to get to that tank and plug if your slide is out. Remember, check with the jacks in the UP/Retracted position. RV should be on a fairly level parking space. Careful to use a properly fitting closed end wrench or socket so you do not strip the plug. Remember, lefty loosey, righty tighty. 8-) Very difficult to add/replenish fluid without a hand pump like I showed in my earlier post.
