Gurgling sink

In my '05 Pace Arrow, the kitchen sink drains 'gurgle' after running water through them. The gurgling sound comes 15 to 20 seconds after all the water has drained through. What is this a sign of? Clogged stack? Is there a stack? Anyone have experience with this so I can figure what direction to go in to resolve a problem that may just be beginning to build?

Thanks.

A majority of the kitchen sinks don't have a vent stack. The builder uses a undersink vent. It is nothing more than a vacumn breaker with a rubber bladder that pulls open to vent air when the sink drains. If you have one, it will be under the sink and attached to the drain line. It will be black and about the size and shape of a baby food jar. It sounds like the rubber bladder is stuck and not letting the sink vent correctly.

Ha! It's not what drains out of the grey tank, it's what comes back through the system from the grey tank.

Thanks, Traveler, for the info. I found that undersink stack and I'll see if the vacuum break can be removed from the top of it and replaced. I suspected a vacuum break, but couldn't locate one until I dug a bit deeper under the sink, thanks to your help.

Another quick and brilliant solution on this great forum. Thanks again, one and all.

Kip
