Headlights

This is a shot of an 05 Bouder headlight. The bulbs are some sort of projector style bulb. Are these a common automotive headlight?

Thanks

I couldn't make out the lights very well from your photo , but here is a recent thread of mine re: the bulb replacement on my 08 Bounder.

Hope this helps

Many MH's have headlight assemblies which were originally designed for trucks and vans. Take a close look at your clear lens cover and you should find a number embossed on the cover in addition to a LH or RH marking. Do a google search of the number and you should be able to identify the original automotive application

We've got an '06 & Advanced Auto Parts had our bulb replacement. Just walked in with the burnt out one & said "got this?" & the guy behind the counter pulled one out in about 2 seconds.

I have an 02 Discovery and about 1996 to 1999 Chev 1/2 ton headlamps are the same...Complete assembly.... Aquired them from Auto Parts Warehouse for about $35.00 each and that's with the bulbs. I don't believe they are all that price though. Only had to change mounting brackets. No problem...

I would like to correct my last statement...about those headlight assemblies...I did purchase them from Auto Parts Warehouse online. But they were for a 1999 GMD C1500. Seems Chev and GMC may have been different. They also went up a little in price to $42.00 ea...
Also the ones removed from the '02 Discovery had vent in the top of the lamp assembly. removed them from the old assembly, drilled a hole in the new and put them in.

My 2003 Pace Arrow needed a whole headlight assembly. I looked through the original built sheet. Look at your build sheet from fleetwood if you have one. All chassis manufacturers use mostly automotive headlights and design the front valance around them. As it turned out my Pace Arrow was built with 97 BMW headlights. Also there should be a part number embossed on the headlight assembly. If all you need is bulbs pull one and go to the parts house of your choice as NLOVNIT said.

I think I found it from Auto Parts Warehouse. I found the headlight assembly part number in my coaches build sheet. I then cross referenced the number to a headlight number. The numbers were one and the same. Once I started shopping an aftermarket assembly was cheaper by 1/2 than an oem BMW assembly so I took that route. The assembly has held up well for 3 years now. The coating is coming off of the exterior of the lens though. I just buffed the lens with flitz to remove the rest of the coating looks new again.
