HELP, HELP on flooring replacement

Hey all;
I have a 2008 Bounder 38F. It has rather dark wood interior with beige sofa, front seats. It also has linoleum in front of the galley and rather ugly (IMHO) carpet throughout. I went to purchase Sedona Allure trafficMASTER tonight at Home Depot. The clerk said I should rethink my decision fearing the temp variants may result in the adhesive strips letting loose. My plan was to have the first strip next to the level slide stapled down(saw this done in an RV replacement with Allure on YouTube)nthen floating from there towards the other slide with the galley. He suggested an interlocking vinyl plank instead. My installer is planning on starting this coming weekend and now I'm more confused than ever!!! When I first started looking people seemed to praise Allure, now some complain about it. My goal is to replace all flooring from the firewall (dash) back through the bedroom to the rear bath and replace the carpeting on the slide later and the carpet in the rear bath when I find someone to get me a piece I need with edging sewn on for the slide along with enough for the rear bath. Then I may remove the dinette and replace with a table/chairs.

HELP! Any and all suggestions are appreciated!!

Thank You in advance!
Steve

We used Allure interlocking planking in our fifth wheel about 6 years ago and it has held up great. We put down a thin layer of plastic foam sheeting per instructions and no glue or staples, just a floated floor. I did wedge the planks tight to the walls with no gaps. My thought was the RV will shrink/expand along with the flooring since the RV is so small as compared to a large house. For the carpet in the slideouts and upstairs, we found carpet remnants (Home Depot) that already had binding on them and a 6X12 cut down the middle would do 2 slideouts for us.
I would think your vinyl material should work just fine. There must be many seasonal cabins in WI that use that vinyl and experience temperature swings season to season. Ask your installer what he think's and will he warranty his work?

Thanks Grindstone

Weird here, I'll have to look and see if Allure has interlocking planks here at Home Depot. So far, all I've seen in Allure has been the stick together overlapping kind.
