Help with block heater
Just picked up our 2015 Discovery 40E and we think the engine block heater is on. How do we turn it off?

The back bathroom floor is very warm. And, of course, we can't find the manual for it, but we have plenty of manuals telling us how to turn on the tv and flush the toilet.

Most engine heating elements have a plug in cord some where in a back cabinet and most likely a seperate AC breaker in your breaker box. Look for plug or shut off the breaker for the element.

Maybe in your electrical bay you might have a plug that should be marked. I doubt that a engine heater would heat a floor. How long has the engine been shut off?

On a diesel pusher, the floor in the back will be warm when driving any distances.

Boy you got me shooting soda through my nose on that.
I don't know about DP, just suggestions at least this bumps the thread to the top
I'm sure you probably checked all Dash Switches??
Surely someone more knowledgeable will come along shortly
I would think that a block heater would not be enough heat to heat up the bathroom floor.
Do you have any type of Bathroom floor heater? just guessing here

We're looking! He found it the breaker and turned it off. Maybe things will be clearer in the morning when we're not so tired and it's light outside. Thank you!

Between turning off the breaker and sitting still, surely it will fix us up for the night! Thank you!

After running the rear bathroom floor will always be warm. The engine block heater switch is in the breaker cabinet in the mid bath.

We found the manual! It was in the box with the vacuum cleaner parts...because putting it in the bag with the other manuals would have made so much sense. Good night, all! Thank you!

Our 40E has the switch in the cabinet located above the toilet in the half bath. Same as everyone says, it takes quite a while after traveling, for the rear floor to cool down. We have a 2013 40E and are full timers. We love our Coach/Home. PM me if you ever have any questions, that hopefully I can help you with.
