Help with Dometic Model RM3862

We have a 1996 Bounder and the refrigerator suddenly quit working. Unfortunately, not sure of refrigerator's age. My husband had gone outside, removed a panel, tapped on the "control box," and the panel lit up and refrigerator began working. One place of course immediately said we needed a new refrigerator! Could it be just this "control box" or the possibly the panel above? Any input would be much appreciated! Thanks!

May be as simple a bad connection on the circuit board. Shut all power off to fridge. Then check all wire connections. Also check fuse. It may be bad even if it is not blown.
