Help with KarKaddy

Unhappy, HELP

We just got into Abilene Tx. Man what a day . We had to stop for a couple hours today, could hardly keep the old gal in between the lines. Saw a few people that were blown right off the hwy and into a farmers field. We ended up coming down 277 bad choice, Glad both tanks were full.
So any how pulled into the Flying J in Abilene and noticed that one of the bolts that holds the wheel onto the axel is missing and the weld has broken, on the KarKaddy This place has no shop. I am hoping that we can find a couple bolts at a Hardware store tomorrow but no clue about a welder,
Do we have any fellow RVer's that can help us out?
Talked to a guy at the pumps in a class c that just came from ElPaso and told us that it has been snowing since One O-Clock this afternoon. We will see what happens in the morning.
Still having my coffee. yum
Help,
Tim

Craigslist or a local jeep/off-roading club may be sources to find a mobile welder. Good luck!

I can only offer moral support, but you do have that ... for what it's worth. Good luck to you.

Drop the car off the dolly and tow it empty, until you get to a welder, if still towable.

That's as long as the "We" in your post can drive.

I believe the bolt that holds the wheel on the axle is called a stud and they are pressed on and should be able to get one at any auto parts store. What weld was broken?

Werner Diesel should be able to help you. Their phone number is: 325-603-3105. They've done some work for us and we were very pleased. They are in Tye which is near where you are.

Hello Tim, sorry to read of your troubles
Can you better explain what is missing and cracked on your dolly? Can you post some photo's of your problem? Sounds like you have 2 problems, a broken wheel stud and a cracked weld............
