holding tank sensor probes

I have a 2014 Fleetwood Bounder. My tank levels show continuously full or near full, even if the valves have been open over night. I an trying to use a sensor probe cleaner. The instructions say to fill the holding tanks 3/4 full or full, but if the sensors are working correctly, how do I determine how much clean water is in the black and/or gray water tanks?

Are you saying both say full? If so something is wrong besides being dirty.

You are wasting your time and money cleaning your tank. The sensors do not penetrate the tank walls. They, at the Fleetwood service center, stated the wires coming from the sensors are so sensitive that any cables or hoses too close will cause a malfunction. They routinely inspect the closest culprits and tie them off away from the tank sensor wiring.
