Hot water bypass valve location
We just bought our 2006 Fleetwood Providence 39L….and it was winterized. My hot water tank is filled and it’s making hot water, but only cold comes out of taps. Where is the bypass valves located? I’ve looked everywhere. We are on city water hook up.

The bypass valve on my 2004 Pace Arrow 47c is in the first bay behind the passenger side drive wheels, mounted on the front wall.

The owner's manual says it's in a bay near the water pump. Not much more info. Here's a link to the manual if you'd like one.

Typically the bypass valves are on/near the backside of the heater where the water lines connect. Depending on where your heater is installed, you may have remove an access panel or a drawer to be able to [barely] get a hand on the valve. I've even seen rigs where it is necessary to remove a false back from a cabinet to see it. Examine the area behind where the heater is located and you should be able to figure it out. On my 2004 Tradition, it was an access panel in the interior wall of the clothes closet.

You mention that your Fleetwood was winterized. By whom?
Winterizing usually includes bypassing the water heater.
You say yours is filled and making hot water. How do you know when only cold comes out of the taps by your own admission?
From the outside of your rig, do you see an access door like these attached photos? That’s the water heater. What’s directly behind this inside you rig?
Behind the heater is usually the bypass valves.

Check the wall on the right side of the bedroom closet.

Maybe worth checking
My Fleetwood has a compartment right next to the water heater. To access the by-pass valve I have to remove a false carpeted wall next to where the water heater sits. Once the wall is removed the by-pass valve is right there in plain sight.

I meant to say the "wall" is held in place by Velcro strips. It simply pulls out.
