How do you diagnose a bad hydro boost vs PS pump

I have a 1997 Fleetwood Storm. Lost brake boost and power steering on last outing. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to determine whether it is the hydro boost or the pump that has failed?
Thanks for the help,
Jerry

To me it would sound like the pump but you might want to check out this article. Silly question but is the belt intact and not slipping? Are the fluid levels acceptable?

If you lost both the PS and brake boost than you probably lost the pump. Bug512 said it well Check the belt and fluid!!!
