How to access paper blinds

Out 1998 Fleetwood Southwind 36T still has its original paper window blinds. The strings have worn through on two of them but I cannot figure out how to remove the fabric-covered wood valence/shroud. Anybody know how to get them off?

There should be L-brackets holding them to the walls. They can be hard to get to.

Look up into the valence. There should be an L-bracket and a screw to remove it. You may have to remove the valence getting them down. A long screwdriver or driver bit will be required.

I recently removed and rebuilt all my Day/Night blinds. It is tricky ( not service friendly)to get the valances off. I had to lay on my back with a long Phillips Head screwdriver to remove them. Then do the same thing in reverse to get them back on. Good luck !
