Unhappy How to work a television system in a 2006 Fleetwood Bounder

Can anyone help us figure out how to make an RCA television system work in a 2006 Fleetwood Bounder. It has two TV's, a sattelite and antenna that cranks up manually and a box with all sorts of buttons. We have read all the manuals but are having no luck. Thank you!

Mike

We need an awful lot of information. Describe make and model of all the equipment. If possible take a close up photo of the equipment inside the coach. The box with "All the buttons" is most likely a distribution panel for the input and output signals, such as front TV, bedroom TV, exterior TV or satellite etc........

Hi, Mike. I also have an 06 Bounder. Ya gotta love the inconsistency of motor home construction. I have ( Or had) Toshiba tv's in my rig. But, mine had been pulled apart and put back together enough so that the push button box that directs the input and output signals of all the various components turned into a timesink of trial and error. Pick one component and puzzle thru that to get it connected, and move to the next one. Label every cable once I.d.'ed or you will hate yourself later. It's a lot less tedious with a helper (two heads are better . . .) Have fun, take your time. After being a very short time newbie, I realized this was one of the easier problems I have had to juggle. You will get it sorted out. Good luck.

I have an '05, so likely close to the same components.
If you are using the crank up antenna.. Is your TV a digital TV? (my Toshiba's are not digital) If not, you will need one of those analog/digital converter boxes.

Be sure the power is on the switching box.. thats the one with all the buttons for each TV letting you select Antenna, Satellite, Cable, etc.

On mine, the various coax connections on the back of the switch box tend to work loose...be sure they are all good and tight.

My suggestion is to hook up to a cable system first where you know you have signal to the cable input and you know what channels to expect. Then get that working first. Then try the digital converter for the over the air antenna signals. they can be kind of irritating to dial in and tune.
