Identify this device??

Removed my control panel to run a hdmi cable through the rear cabinet and I saw this device. Connected via 12v it seems. Anyone have any idea what its purpose/function is?

Tried Google lens and no luck lol.

Sorry, picture is blurry. Without information like what year RV and model really hard to help ya. Also, what is a "control panel"? Could mean different things to different folks.
Post more info so others with a similar rv can help.

Picture does not tell a story here. Looks like a wire on a terminal.

With that soldering job I'd be surprised if it's factory.

Oh yeah. That’s definitely something. Those wires make it do whatever it does, or prevents it from doing It. I saw something like that in a birds nest of old wires once. The bird was nice enough to let me take a look rather than making me look at a blurry picture and try to figure it out. Birds are nice like that. .

Great points everyone. Sorry for the blurry photo. Have the RV still in storage and when I got home this was the only photo I had taken. Hopeful that the device was easily recognizable. I'll be back at the RV this weekend and will take a better photo. Thanks again.

Also, let us know what year/make/model of RV you have. That info is not in your profile. Please put that info there or create a signature with that info in it. It will go a long ways when members are trying to help you.

Just thought of this. A “L-pad “ to control a stereo speaker
