Intellitec Electronic Climate Control…Where is the ECC Control Module?
Hello All,
I purchased a 1999 Fleetwood Bounder and it does not have the thermostat. I am replacing it with the Waiter ECC touch screen. Here are the places that I have looked.
1. Behind the breaker box
2. under the frig
3. Ceiling vent for Air unit one (in bedroom), which has a control box
4. Ceiling vent for Air unit two (in living room), which has a control box
So I am trying to find the Climate controller where there 2 individual controllers run to meet the ECC controller so I can put in the neboard for the ECC Waiter.
Any help would be great.
Thanks!
Darryl

Should be located behind or close to your breaker box. Black box about the size of the
new circuit board you have. It will have about five 12 volt wire plugs going to it and in the middle of the plugs there will be a test switch . The box should be labeled ECC control module. Model number might help but it is not always located where the print
shows it to be.

Take the main control panel off. Eg, tank levels etc. On our 2002 south wind it was behind there.

Darryl, mine is in the cabinet in the bedroom which is right behind my 120 & 12 volt breaker box. On mine, it is a tight area to get to, which does include removing the TV to access back of the wire central system. 90% of all my electrical components are in that area, including both transfer boxes, my Electrical Management System and the brains for my heating and cooling modules. Hope this helps Ron.

Mine is directly behind the breaker box, but you must remove the entire panel and not just the breaker box. There are a gazillion wires back there so it is hard to see unless the entire panel is removed. I have replaced it. Chuck

So on mine.. it was behind breaker panel.. you dont have to remove panel.. just top clips and it's on hinges and just rotates down.. takes 30 seconds.. mine is under refrigerator.. but here is the kicker.. it was mounted inside cubby .. up on the wall.. hard to see.. and with 25yrs of dust.. even harder.. so.. use cellphone with flash on and record behind inside breaker panel... up on sides.. . then use that to get p#
Cellphone camera with flash and record.. is your best friend and fits where your head cannot..
Some members say theirs is back bedroom.. under bottom draw.. left or right.. another spot.. might be.. under where ECC control is mounted..
Good luck and keep us posted

Thanks!
I finally found it. It was behind that breaker box. I had to pull everything out of the way and then put a light in there, otherwise I would now have see it. Being black makes it harder to spot.
