On the White Rodgers site I see isolated vs grounded.
Does it matter which one I use?

A isolated relay ( solenoid ) needs a ground wire to one of the 2 small terminals, power to the other.
A grounded relay ( solenoid ) means the mounting base is the ground for the pull in coil. It needs to be mounted to a grounded base, not plastic. It will typically have only one small terminal.

You know that the silver solenoid is NOT the isolation solenoid, right ?
Isolation solenoids also double as boost solenoids. They have large battery cable suzewireson them.
The silver one may be bad, but the black one to the left will be the isolation solenoid. That's where the IRD wires go.

I was aware of that. That is the only pic I have on hand. No issues with electrical was just looking at replacing them as PM.
I do not know if the silver relay is stock or not. Anyone know?

So I don't mean to derail the thread but I 'think' I am having an isolation solenoid issue as well and was hoping this might be a quick fix.
I've had this happen twice now, once a few months ago and again today. We camped last night, started it up this morning and are out doing errands. I have to work so my wife is in shopping and I'm at my desk (board on steering wheel that holds my laptop) and I'm hearing this clicking going on.
The 1st sounds is a click, like contacts closing, then a slightly different sound one second later that sounds like "donk". So every three seconds it's "dink" a second or less "donk".
I opened up the large black box in the front "under the hood", so to speak, and put my finger on each of those relays on the bottom, but don't know for sure either one is the one clicking. Maybe something in the back underneath the circuit board?
I also pushed the "Aux Start Switch" and 100% sure it's what's causing the dink, donk sound as I can STOP it when I press and hold it, and it's the exact same sound.
I also can make it stop temporarily by pushing the booster switch on the dash, but about 9 or 10 seconds later it starts the same routine again.
I can also make it stop by disconnecting the large white connector at the bottom of the black box, but as soon as I plug it back in, it starts up again.
I can also make it stop by starting the engine. Also by turning off the salesman switch by the door.
I tried starting the generator and letting it run for a bit, and it's hard to tell if it's clicking or not but it starts again when the generator is off.
I'm kind of wondering if I plug into shore power if it will stop as we haven't heard it during the evening on our last two camping stops. Unfortunately, I will be boon docking tonight, so I SURE hope it doesn't do this all night long. Certainly can't be good for whatever relay is doing that.
Here's the pics of the black box under the "hood" as well as my nifty desk.
TIA for your help.

They are circuit breakers, not relays.
You have a short or over current condition somewhere.

Sounds as if the solenoid has worn contacts. I replaced all the items (pics I uploaded) and no more issue with the solenoid chattering while driving.

Well, so far no more issues...but we haven’t moved the RV yet.
