Jack System
My mother in law has a 2008 Bounder. She has been quoted $20,000 to remove her old jacks & jack system and replace them. Seems really high to me.

Welcome to iRV2.
Yes that does sound very high .
Exactly why does the whole system need to be replaced ?
What wasn't working ???
Leveling system only or is slide drive included ?

Jack System
She was having problems with them going up and down. Inconsistent. Sometimes 3 up 1 down, 2 up 2 down, none down, etc.

If you ask for a quote to replace the whole system, you will get one. Sounds like she did. A better option might be to get a mechanic familiar with the system she has to troubleshoot and fix the existing system.
you can do a lot of work for 20 grand, but I bet she can get it fixed for a lot less than that.

Sounds like they don't want to work on her coach so they tripled or even quadrupled the price of a complete new system.

Way too high. Instead of an RV repair shop, take them to a hydraulic repair shop. Or better yet, contact the manufacturer and ask who their local repair shop is near you. Chuck
