July 4th Holiday Weekend Plans
Hey Fellow Fleetwood Owners!!
As I firmed up my July 4th holiday for this year, I had to wonder if any of you are traveling and if so, where??
I booked several spots at River Ridge RV Resort in Stanwood Michigan!! This place is most certainly one of my favorites so far!
The resort is absolutely beautiful and has a ton of amenities!
Just wondered who else might be there?

Good Ol Stanwood Michigan! I went to Ferris State University in Big Rapids. Very nice area. I did a ton of hunting and fishing all around that area. Probably should have done more studying. Back in those days I would see a lot of folks boon docking on state land during hunting season.

I see your from Huntley, I pass through there everyday on my way to work. I guess you bought yours from General RV then as I did?

We have a trip to Durango Colorado planned for the first 2 weeks in June, but no July 4th travel. We try to avoid holiday weekends in campgrounds.

No, we bought ours from a private party but, we have spent a lot of money at General!!
We are in Huntley but, my shop is in Mundelein.

I usually feel that way about the holidays but it is also a ggod opportunity to get away from my business!

They are OK now, had to replace both Chassis batteries. Took it to the General this week.

On the road heading to Elks National convention in New Orleans. Then up to just north of Green Bay Wisconsin before heading back to Santa Cruz CA. So excited as this is our first really long trip!

Looks like we will go to San Francisco over the 4th...need to get my reservations in soon. Will head up the coast to Oregon from there...staying out of the central California valley heat.
