Just bought 2015 Fleetwood Storm 32H
My wife and I just drove out to CA (from OK) - met a very nice couple and drove home a 2015 Fleetwood Storm 32H. The coach is in great shape and we are pretty excited. We really liked the bunkhouse floorplan (6 grandkids). As is always the case, there are tradeoffs...
1) In my old Class C I had replaced the Norcold with a residential fridge and we didn't realize how much we had really hated the Norcolds! I installed a 2000 watt inverter and directly wired it in to our breaker box and we ended up with several hot plugs - along with power to the fridge while we were driving. Really convenient...We don't boondock a lot, and really liked the larger residential refrig. Anyone make this conversion in your Fleetwood and can offer some suggestions? I'm also thinking about upgrading to 50amp and/or just adding an outlet or 2 - not real impressed with the current outlet placement.
2) The dining room table won't stay up - frustrating! Didn't know about this issue before purchase. Numerous online posts about this problem...not exactly sure how to proceed yet.
3) The generator will shut off - I'm pretty sure it's related to overheating from proximity to the engine. We blew the small circuit breaker on the genny and had to reset that breaker on the genny before it would start again. Did know about this issue and have read numerous 'fixes'. Any suggestions?
4) And we don't really like the jack knife sofa - which we knew might be an issue. Looking at some replacement options...
5) If you've made it this far - can anyone tell me where the cigarette lighter fuse for the 2 front dash lighters is located? I had to remove and screw back together one of them on the way home and in the process blew the fuse.
Thanks for reading!

Hey Ryan. We have a 2010 Fleetwood Southwind. Not sure how many similarities with your model, but the fuse for our dash cigarette lighters is in the fusebox under the dash on the driver's side. Sorry, but can't remember which fuse specifically.
With regard to your dining table, ours is the kind where you pull a handle and the table sinks down to the level of the seats to make a bed. Never would stay up reliably, and it would rock front to back. I ended up cutting two pieces of 2x4 to wedge tightly between the bottom of the table (one on each side) and the floor, right by the wall. Low tech fix, but they're out of site and have made the table rock solid.

Congrats on the storm. We call ours “stormy” which has 78000 miles on the clock all driven by me. Done cross country a few times a Florida many times. It has well by us. Since we tend to overnight in Cracker Barrel on a lot of our journeys the norcold refrigerator has been great and never had a problem. Just got back fro Florida yesterday and the ice is rock hard. I hate the jsofa my self am going to replace it with euro recliners. Still have to do the peeling captains chairs from the lousy stuff flexsteel used. If you contact rev service and give them your fin(fleetwood I’d no) they can email all the schematics for your unit. Also if you go to their website and put in your fin you can see all the asbuilts for your particular unit. We just made the trip from Bradenton,fl to nj with no dash or roof air. Fortunately we had a cool night in nc for our latest Cracker Barrel excursion.

Thanks!
I did find the lighter fuse - it is located in the engine compartment in the main power distribution box.
We've made a "temp" fix on the table - see how it holds up, but 2x4s are next!
Haven't decided for sure about the fridge situation but my wife really got used to our residential in the previous coach. We installed a 2000W inverter and it worked great...
What is "Rev service"? Any contact info or link? I did re-register as a new owner with Fleetwood, but haven't heard back from them yet.

It’s been awhile but I’ll go in to rev and copy down the details to get into the site for your asbuilt info and get back to you. REV is the parent co of fleetwood. If you call their service department they will email the schematics for your unit. They are in Decatur,Indiana. Btw if you go there for service, which requires an appointment, they have “camp fleetwood” which has electric ,on site, and dump station and water and a lounge. A made a trip there for a rattling dash and seeing daylight on the passenger side floor. Their techs were great. Turned out the original assemblers kinda left out a few things when they assembled the unit. I found a truck repair shop that does work on fedex trucks which is pretty much what our chassis is. They won’t do anything in the box but will do all having to do with the chassis. Cheaper than going to rv shop.

Thanks!
I am trying to locate a windshield wiper nozzle for the washer system. I can find the one below which is designed for 3/8" cowls, but I need a longer threaded one. The one I'm replacing - the threaded part that goes thru the cowl is twice as long as the one pictured.

Since the truck repair shop where I get my chassis work done also services a lot of fedex delivery trucks you might find the part at a similar type shop in your area. Lots of the chassis parts on these things come from other commercial truck cos. Also might try visone or colaw which are rv salvage yards.

A marine fridge that is 120/12 volt works really good. I don't know why they aren't used much in a RV

I finally went into the fleetwood site today here’s the steps I used to get into the “asbuilt”for my storm. Once you get into it you’ll find everything that was used on your unit.
1. Go to fleetwood rv.com/parts
2. Click on owners
3”shop parts”
4. Click on “parts”
5. Where it says, “search for part number, part description, or vehicle” enter your “fin” and hit enter. Then your unit should show up. Then you should be able click on the sub menus and you see various sub menus for chassis, appliances, electrical, etc. I found out that my headlights are from a Jeep.
Many of the parts on our mh have been sourced from various automotive type suppliers. Some of the parts might have a picture, others don’t. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
