launching boat with fleetwood expedition

I'll be lauching my boat (21') for the first time this weekend with a 2006 expedition (pusher). Is there anything I should be aware of that wasn't an issue with my Southwind gas? Thanks.

Wheels may be closer to water. Parking brake is different. You are heavier.

Good Luck and be safe. It would be nice to have a driver that could remain in the drivers seat!

Pull up to the ramp. While the guy in the pickup is admiring you impressive rig throw him a $20 and he will launch it for you! Toy people love to help toy people and boaters (like me) would do it for free. IMHO. JD

No issues other than making sure you can get turned around to back down. My rear tires never touch the water.

Thanks all, actually we launched at eleven at night, Colorado River, Havasu Springs, no boat traffic, using walkie talkies and all went well. We've been boating years but never launched with a deisel in the dark but it was fine, Thanks.

There is,in another thread in these forums..A photo of someone who tried to launch their boat with their Motor home.. Thread is not titled "EPIC FAILURE" but could have been.

Seems the driver pressed the wrong pedal (Accelerator, not brake) while backing the boat .. Trailer and RV and all, into the lake.
