Left Taillight Loose

2017 Discovery 38K
Found the taillight loose while washing the rv.
Can't see a way to get to the mount screws/bolts.
Does the chrome trim pop off or is there another way to get there to tighten it.
I hate plastic clips. They always seem to break when I try to get something loose.
Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Can you share a pic of what your looking at please just in case one of us has dealt with that type of mount before?

Don't know if the Discovery is different than the Bounder. Mine was loose and replaced under warranty. There are no bolts on the Bounder. There are clips and let you just slide on or off (think your cabinet doors inside). One of the clips was missing on mine.

I have the same tail lights on our 15 Discovery. I believe the tabs only snap/slide into the slot. Have not found ant screws, and you can't get to the back to check. If you have a tab broken you will probably end up buying a whole new assembly or use a screw to hold it in place.
I've looked at the assembly thinking I might put brighter bulbs in them, but no easy way to remove so I'll wait until a bulb burns out then get serious about removing assembly.

I just got back from the dealer. They assured me it was a simple fix that could be done in the parking lot but, as I already knew, it would have to go to a service bay.
They told me the light "should" be OK to drive until my scheduled appointment on 7/26 and if it fell out they would cover any associated damage.
We'll see what happens because we're headed out next week for Georgia.

The only thing i would look for in that is maybe its connected from the back side under the RV. But i assume you looked there. Please keep us posted, im really curious how they come off as well.
