Leveling system
I just bought a 2000 Discovery by Fleetwood. I found out how to let the air ride down so the leveling should work. Brake set, switch on, in neutral, generator running.
I push ON button, ON light comes on, I push jack buttons and get nothing.
Any ideas?
Help the newby

Welcome to iRV2.
Can you determine the manufacturer of your leveling system ??
Both HWH and Power Gear , were common in coaches of our vintage, if you don't see a name on the control panel , you may have to look at the jacks themselves .
Is you coach built on a Freightliner chassis?

A suggestion or two...Park coach. Place transmission in neutral/park, set parking brake, leave engine running, put on wheel covers if required, lower air suspension completely may take a minute or so.
For Power Gear Jacks
With engine running, push ON button on the jack panel, PUSH and HOLD AUTO. You might need to hold the AUTO button in for a few seconds till you hear the jack motors.
Check all jacks are extended, Put out slides. Turn off engine.
When you first turn on the JACK panel do you see LOW VOLTAGE?
Keep us updated and Good Luck
John

I have tried:engine and or gen on, let air ride down, in neutral, parking brake on. I push ON button, it lights up; I hold the Jacks Down buttons and ...nothing, no pump sounds no jack movement??? It is a Power Gear. Freightliner

Are your jacks electric or hydraulic? If electric then a brake motor may have failed. When the panel lights up during a failure it usually points to the failed jack. And the engine must be running.

It may be that when of the wires for the interlock with parking brake & engine/tranny has become disconnected. The controller generally requires positive confirmation that the tranny is in Park/Neutral and the park brake on.
Or it may be that the fuse for the hydraulic pump is blown or the motor itself not working. You could try jumping 12v power direct to the jack hydraulic pump to help verify that.

Mystery solved!
Previous owner just replaced the two engine batteries. He put the power cable to hyd pump on the NEG terminal of the battery. I moved it to the POS all works well.
Thanks for you advice.
