Light in Engine Compartment - Southwind

Hi All,

I just bought my first RV, a 2002 Southwind 35R. There is a light on in the engine compartment that can be seen only from outside of the coach, and I can't figure out how to turn it off! I've flipped every switch inside the rig, but nothing works. I don't see anything in the manual about it.

Can anyone tell me how to turn that engine light off...?

Thanks!
Stefanie

Is there, by chance, a "Utility Light" switch on the dash? Our Discovery has lights in the wet bay and engine bay that are controlled by a dash switch, completely separate from the baggage lights in the other basement bays.

I haven't tried it yet, but my 1999 Southwind 35S has a switch on the dash called "HOOD"

My Bounder had a switch labeled " utility ". It worked the light under the hood and the light on the the rear side above the wet bay as well as the light in the wet bay.
