Lighting Questions
I am new to my 06 Providence 39L and have a couple of questions:
1. there is a switch on side console that is labeled 'ICC lighting', is this for the lighting in the 'mechanical' spaces?
2. I have replaced my driving lights and not getting power to the lamps, power is good at the fuse. anyone have experience replacing the switch on the dash??
3. Has anyone gone all LED on interior light bulbs with good results? I've been in a Excursion where all recessed lights are LED but, lighting effect is not as good as the incandescent?
4. anyone have a good recommendation for an aftermarket front mask/bra?
Thanks in advance,
David

1. Don't have a clue. Don't know what ICC stands for. What happens when you turn it on? Test at night. look around.
2. N'o help with that one.
3. Not everyone likes LED lights. Get the brightest K you can find. I changed all 30 in mine I like them, my wife does not.
4. Be careful with a bra. Edge flapping can ruin the paint.

No, it flashes the marker lights. "Thank you Mr. Trucker!" when he flashes his to tell you it's safe to pull back in. (ICC - Interstate Commerce Commission)

If you have power at the fuse it's unlikely to be the switch. More likely some ground wasn't made when the new lamps were installed.

Did it on my old 1989 Rexhall. Loved it. Going to do the same to my new 1998 Bounder. Some people find the hue too harsh. YMMV

We are new owners to an 08 Fleetwood Expedition and I had to read the owners manual to figure out the ICC switch, we haven't had occasion to use it yet.
Can't help with your lighting issue, but as far as replacing the led's on your coach, I say Go for it!
We have replaced each and every light with them, including the reverse lights and are very pleased with them. I think it gives the coach an upgraded, newer look. We did the warm white.
Enjoy your new ride!

Replacing all the interior lights with LEDs is rather silly. Lighting does not use that much power.
Since I boondock frequently I have replaced lights I use a lot with LEDs. Also places where I want more light like over the kitchen sink.
I replaced both old TVs. I much bigger TV only cost $100 and only uses 30 watts.

Rick covered all 3 questions pretty well. Just to be clear, the "marker lights" are the ones on the exterior roof of the coach, front and rear.
I've converted to all Leds and added some Led lighting as well. Replaced both incandescent and fluorescent lighting, inside and out. Other than assuring that the DC voltage is good and steady, there isn't much to it. One caveat: some leds are better designed than others, so be careful of ultra-cheap stuff. Each led bulb is a miniature electronic appliance.
