Lights and fridge not working when not hooked up to power

We have had several friends who either own RVs or know a thing or two about electrical stuff(one was even a retired engineer) look at this and none of them can seem to figure it out. So hopefully someone here might be able to help.

We have a 1998 Fleetwood Tracker Trailstar.

When hooked up to electric or a generator, everything works fine. When we unhook from it the lights and fridge stop working. Sometimes they last for a couple minutes after unhooking. Other times they can last for a day, maybe even two.

We took the auxiliary battery to Batteries Plus to get it tested and they said it was fine. It’s only a year old too.

When I posted about this issue on Facebook they said to check the battery disconnect switch, and when I told them that we don’t have one(there is a spot by our door that says batter disconnect, but there is no button, and when we unscrewed the panel we saw there is nothing behind it, no wires or anything), they stopped responding.

We then bought a new(and pricey) converter, thinking that was the issue. We were plugged into power all of last night and when we unplugged today everything stopped working a couple minutes later.

The only things that the battery seem to keep running at all times is the co detector and the lpg. That is it.

If the battery is good and the electric stuff works when plugged in that points to a wiring problem in my humble opinion. Can be a pain to find wiring problems - I'd start with the ground connection though - clean it up and test again. If that fails you'll need to start tracing wires - sorry...

With AC Power OFF.......
Measure the DC on battery cable connected to the DC Dist Fuse Panel
Converter and battery cables go to same panel to supply the DC System

Check Battery NEG Cable Connections
