Location of diagnostic plug

I am not able to locate the diagnostic plug on my 2000 Bounder Ford V-10, F53 6.1. Does anyone know where it would be located?:

Just to the right of the steering colum under the dash. It will probably have a black plastic cover.

I have a 99 Pace Arrow and mine was stuffed in the steering column shaft shroud. You may have to remove yours to locate it. I relocated mine for easier access.

My pace has a dash cluster that pops up. You lift the dash and it is on the right side support for the steering wheel.
