Welcome to iRV2!

Is your coach built on a Ford or a Workhorse chassis?

On another topic, you should add a "signature" to your profile. It contains whatever info you want; most people put info about their coach there, so they don't have to type it into each message. Instructions for adding a signature are here.

Ford Bulletin Q-206 (link here) shows the connector is somewhere inside the dash, behind the instrument cluster, if Fleetwood did not move it from where Ford put it. That's where I found it on my 2008 coach (a Monaco product).

I have a 2018 southwind on a ford chassis
It is at the base of the steering column where it goes into the floor

That is correct for your coach, and any built 2012 or later. For 2011 and older, like the OP's coach, it's further up in the dash. Bulletin Q-206 shows pictures for both.

Brake wiring

I have a 07 36Z Bounder on F53 chassis. Mine is located under the shelf next to drivers seat. It had connector and all right there. Bought coach new but never pulled trailer as I pull a toad.
