Looking to replace the hitch receiver

When i bought our 2005 Fleetwood Revolution LE coach, i noticed that the hitch receiver was welded. The previous owner told me that it broke and he welded it at a reputable place. It’s rated for 15k lbs and i will only be towing my jeep GC which is not close to half the weight but still who knows !! So i am thinking to replace it just for piece of mind especially that i see some minor rust. Problem is I don’t know the model neither does fleetwood and non of the major hitch receiver manufacturers have database for RVs. Would you replace it if you were in my shoes? Any advise on how to match a new hitch receiver?

Could you take it to a reputable welding shop? They will be able to look it over and determine if the repair is solid. Nothing wrong Repairing if it was done right.

I seriously doubt that a 15k hitch just broke, there is more to the story. Does it not still have bolt holes lined up so you could have bolts and welded?
