Loss of 12v Powee When Furnance Kicks On
New problem has risen. When the propane heat comes on it will run for about 315 seconds then the 12-volt lights flip off and all 12v power is lost. It will reset and run again for a short time. The thermostat shed light goes from green to red when this happens. I'm thinking problem at thermostat switch, any suggestions ? Thx.

It sounds like you are running out of power, in other words voltage is dropping low enough to shut down the furnace.
The voltage in the battery will creep up enough to start again, then when you restart, it drops again.
I am guessing you are not hooked to shore power, or your batteries are not getting a charge.
Have you tried to run the heater with the engine running?

Do you mean ceiling lights and all 12 volt circuits in the motorhome?

I have been unable to duplicate the problem since it occurred over 24 hours ago. I readjusted the heat selector on the thermostat and turned off the main and auxiliary battery switches and turned them back on. The furnace has kicked on several times since then no loss of power. I'm guessing I may have had the switch turned off and ran the batteries down.

I can't think of any thing in the controller or furnace that would cause the 12 volt circuits to suddenly open. May be a bad connection somewhere thats effected by heat or vibration.
If the batteries were running down the lights would slowly dim down, not turn off all the sudden..
