Have a 2000 Bounder. Our detector went crazy the other evening. Got out my gas snifter. Couldn't find any problem. Turned out to be our dog had a lot of extra gas. Have to laugh.

I just removed my valve, problem solved! Buy a stand alone detector.

When replacing the 12v detector we bought a new propane & CO2 combination.

We have a separate 12v switch for the electric propane valve. I also installed a LED red indicator for when the switch is on.

1999 bounder motorhome by fleet Wood

I have a bad Converter but I am not able to find where it is located. On my last camping trip all 12 volt power was lost an had to use a battery charger to batteries to get my slide and jacks up. So have spent several hours trying to find the power converter location. Can anyone provide me with some help?
Thanks

Have you verified your fuses?

For those who may be searching for the old CCI LP detector, which operates the LP flow cut-off solenoid. Most of you know the company is gone, and there are no replacements available.

The component that ages out is the Figaro TGS-813 sensor. If you are handy with a soldering gun, the sensor can be replaced, restoring the CCI units function. Below is my post on the repair.

If I should need one in the future, where would I find it? Amazon shows out of stock.

They can be found on eBay, as well.
On amazon, they do pop-up frequently. Both OE and alternative manufactured sensors.
