Mattress replacement

We have a 2012 33c that needs the mattress replaced. Any suggestions?

Check with Mattress Insider. They specialize in RV and Boat mattress. I purchased a replacement mattress from them a couple of months ago. Good price and not so bad mattress. Its a gel foam shipped in a box mattress. I like it a lot better than my sleep number air mattress that came with my RV.

We ordered RV queen from Amazon. Nice latex foam mattress. Works great, comfortable.

If you like the mattress you have at home see if the mfg makes a mattress of the proper size for your RV. As stated above it's probably called either an RV Queen or an RV King, depending on the size of the mattress. If you measure it you can just go by that.

I put a regular queen in mine by Sealy. In 2016 it allows for a regular sized queen.

We replaced ours with a Tochta Utopia memory foam mattress https://www.tochta.com/product/utopia-mattress/

They have standard RV sizes but also make custom sizes which is what I ordered because of radius corners. A little more pricey but well worth the extra $ IMO. Extremely comfortable!

Mattress

Thanks for all your repies. Since with the bed slide in, I have only 7" in height available. So I went with a mattress insider 5.5" gel foam mattress. Our bed is 72x80. I guess that is a " rv king". They had the mattress on sale also plus a 10% discount.

Choice of mattress is a very personal thing - what is comfortable to me may be agony for you.Unless your coach has an oddball mattress size, go to a mattress store and try out various types , firmness and support.

If you have a non-standard size, aka "RV Queen" or whatever, your choices will be more limited but there are still options. Several companies will custom make whatever size you want and ship to your door, a "mattress in a box". We bought our last home mattress that way and love it.

We bought our mattress in 2017 (and are still using it) after watching a video from "Gone with the Wynns" from this site:

You get a 10% discount using the code: WYNN
