Missing Insulation

Am I the only one who has a rig that FW didn't bother to insulate under front cavity? Always seamed to be a tad drafty when sitting up there.

Discovered the other day when chasing some wiring. Just stuff some batts up there?

Kinda ticks me off as the dealer was up there when I first got it. Not surprising as they don't have the best and the brightest employees.

Don't think the dealer will do what you ask them to do never mind what you don't ask them to do. Mine sat at Lazydays for 6 months and barely touched.
No, mine had no insulation and actually had many clear see into the engine compartment gaps. Luckily I brought mine to Decatur for warranty work and complained the AC wasn't doing the job. Well, the AC was doing the job there were just so many air infiltrations it was like it wasn't working. Good old Fleetwood "Quality Control".
Decatur warranty work fixed up nicely for me.

Im Lucky

Our Triple E is insulated for winter and summer. When I look underneath, I see nothing but solid spray foam insulation, intact some 18 years later.

It seems that the manufacturers have wildly different standards for construction. Were fortunate that Triple E had some high standards for quality builds.

Cheers 🍷🍸
