Has anyone installed mud flaps on a Fleetwood Pulse? I just started flat towing a 1999 Mazda Miata. The first tow the rain was torrential and the spray from the dual tires caused some moisture to get into the car. It was also covered in sand.Any recommendations on how to avoid this appreciated.

Being an ex-coal miner, I used a angle bracket the entire way across the back of the rv and drilled and installed mine conveyor belt material across the entire back end. That stopped all dirt and overspray from your tires on what you were towing.
You can have a new mud flap made if you are confident enough yourself to design what will work for you. We got one from DuraFlap LLC out of Oregon.
Ours was just a replacement, so I could measure the old damaged one and order what I wanted. We had fun with it too.
(sorry about the reflections]

We can help you with a mud flap across the back, but it sounds like you might first want good sized mud flaps inside the wheel well. If your mud flaps behind the dual wheels are large enough, that will stop about 80% of the problem. The mud flap across the back is for the other 20% of the problem.
Just make sure the mud flap behind the duallys is a little wider than the tires, and hangs as low as possible without hitting the ground when you park. Make sure these mud flaps have the vertical grooves on the side toward the tires to keep the water and mud from spraying around the mud flap. Instead the water will be directed down toward the ground.
Sometimes special brackets need to be designed, but usually there is metal inside the fender well for them to hang from.
