Need compartment door help

I have a '99 Southwind 32V, and some of the luggage compartment doors will move along the hinge left or right until the door either hits another door or the latch bracket. I can move them back, but would like to fix them.

I believe its the plastic stop in the center of the hinge, but haven't seen any online and don't know what they're called.

I tried to make one, but didn't last long. Also, I ended up getting the original plastic wedged in the hinge and couldn't pry it out.

Anyone with experience dealing with this?

Thanks,
-Ellis

Ellis:

Just like you I had problems with my compartment doors moving. I finally made some out of metal. The trick is to find the same width of the center hinge slot, adjust door and install the homemade catch door tab.

They are called catch tabs. check out this link below. Go down 47 item and you see chrome or white catch tabs @ 3.99ea.

RV door catches, latches, holder, fasteners, accessories

I found some 3/16" thick nylon I had, I think it was a cheap cutting board I got from Walmart. I cut some strips to fit snug, tapped new holes and it seems to work just fine.
