Just like you I had problems with my compartment doors moving. I finally made some out of metal. The trick is to find the same width of the center hinge slot, adjust door and install the homemade catch door tab.
They are called catch tabs. check out this link below. Go down 47 item and you see chrome or white catch tabs @ 3.99ea.
