Here is what I did. I am talking about a Keyless entry Keypad not a fob. I purchased a TriMark lighted keypad that has to have a pocket cut into the fiberglass on the outside of the coach. This was placed under the lighted grab handle. The TriMark lighted replacement keyless grab handle does not fit on my coach. So back to the TriMark 540-0100 E-Pad unit and I added 30 feet extension harness. This keypad has multiple wires but the wires used were only 4; 12V Power, Ground, Lock and Unlock. Power and Ground are easy. The Lock and Unlock wires need to go to the RKE100 controller or to each of the 2 relays. This will put a keyless pad on the exterior of the coach and reduce the need to cary keys or a fob. This is very doable and easy. I have schematics for the RKE100 attachments or the relays. I don't have pictures yet as mine is hooked up but due to and injury it is not completely installed. It is working but laying on the floor near the drivers seat. Hopefully I will be well enough to finish the install in a couple of weeks. Meantime if you reply we can discuss this further

Hope you’ve recovered from your injury. Just wondering if you have completed your install and can share some pics?

Key Pad

I finished installing the Trimark lighted keypad last summer, works great.
I did not use the Trimark grab handle that has the key pad because the
dimensions are not the same and there would have been visible holes where old handle was attached. If you want to use the new grab handle, you would need to make some sort of oversized backing plate/escutcheon. I mounted the key pad directly under the grab handle. When I cut the hole in the coach the sides are aluminum under the fiberglass..so little extra work cutting.
